Owner and stylist, Diane Keck, had a vision for a salon built on a culture of passion, hospitality, and a personalized experience. She wanted an atmosphere for guests that felt innovative while being fun and friendly, and she wanted a salon where stylists always felt inspired.
That vision came to life on May 1st, 2006 when she opened Thanx Hair Artistry.
Thanx is a bright and cheery studio style salon with upbeat, good-natured, caring, and attentive artists. Our culture is as strong today as ever. We want each and every guest to feel relaxed and recharged while they get personalized service with our educated artists.

DIANE MATERIA KECK
Diane has had the passion to help people look and feel better with amazing personalized hairstyling since 1983.
Her vision to be an inspiring leader and create a cheerful, innovative studio lead her to open Thanx Hair Artistry in 2006. She has experience in advanced education with many product lines and has a passion to grow stylists to be the best they can be. She specializes in wig fittings, bridal styles, grey coverage hair color, natural “sun kissed” highlights, precision haircutting, and beautiful blow dry styling. Diane would love to uplift your self-image with the right service customized for you.
Hair Stylist / Nail Technician
MOLLY O'BRIEN
Molly is a second-generation hair stylist. She has been apart of the Thanx Vibe Tribe since 2015. She loves to do both hair and nails, completing a look from head to toe. Her favorite services include doing color and highlights.
When she isn’t in the salon you will catch her traveling anywhere and everywhere and performing with local theater groups.

LILLY SHUNK
Lilly has been with the Vibe Tribe since 2019 and started behind the chair in 2021. She can’t wait to have you in her chair and create the perfect style for you. Her favorite services to do are manicures and color.
She is the youngest of three. When not in the salon you’ll see her at the playing with her two dogs and reading a good book.
Guest Happiness Team
MARISSA
Marissa joined us in August and will be working as an assistant until she graduates from BCTC this Spring to start working behind the chair! She is constantly absorbing new and exciting information to further expand her knowledge in cosmetology.
When Marissa is not in the salon she enjoys experimenting with different makeup and hairstyles, and also LOVES to hang out with her BIG 100 lb pup!
Guest Happiness Team
ELLEN
Ellen is a Senior at Antietam High School and joined the Thanx team this past summer to be a part of the Guest Happiness Team. She LOVES creating new and exciting social media posts, and also enjoys using the Cricut to make lovely team merchandise!
When Ellen is not in the salon she can be found rehearsing for whatever new musical she's in, or working on her college applications for next Fall!
